I joined StreetVet in January 2026, inspired by an organisation whose mission truly matches my passion for animal welfare.
I’ve spent over 15 years working across the rescue and companion animal sectors, taking on roles in operations, behaviour‑focused work, and leading animal care teams. In the private sector, I enjoyed supporting and mentoring dog‑focused teams, helping to build confidence, knowledge, and good practice.
I’m a self‑confessed animal behaviour geek and absolutely love keeping up with new research. I’m equally fascinated by the veterinary world and really value any chance to learn more about life on the clinical side.
I’m proud to be part of the StreetVet team, supporting pets and their people experiencing homelessness together, and helping make a positive difference.

I was delighted to join the StreetVet team in 2021 to develop and promote our Accredited Hostel Scheme. The scheme continues to go from strength to strength and I’m excited to see it flourish, bringing about a positive change in temporary accommodation for those with pets.

My background is in the animal welfare and veterinary sector, both in frontline and operational roles with the RSPCA, Blue Cross and more recently IVC Evidensia.

Outside of work my Bear-coated Shar Pei, Bear (original name I know!) and my Merens horse Harry keep me busy, according to them there’s no such thing as too much mud! To relax I enjoy soaking up the beautiful countryside of Somerset, running in charity events, and art.

I love being part of StreetVet as its values align with my own, and our collective achievements really can change peoples lives and those of their pets forever.

I was delighted to join StreetVet in November 2022. Previous to this role, I have worked for over ten years in various administrative and operational roles – most recently as a PA at a land-based further education college, providing courses in areas such as veterinary nursing, animal welfare, equine and conservation. Having recently lost Toby, my own dog and best friend, I am passionate about StreetVet’s accredited hostel scheme and the importance of keeping people and their pets together.

I am lucky to live by the sea in Devon and in my spare time you can often find me beach cleaning or dog walking on Dartmoor. I also have a cat, Nala, who of course, rules the roost!

I am so proud to be part of the StreetVet team and I am excited to be part of the charity’s incredible work, ethos and future developments.
