StreetVet Reading was set up and started providing outreaches in July 2019. From a solo venture by Isabel, our team lead, we have grown to a team of around 20 regular vet and nurse volunteers.

We currently run an outreach in Reading once a fortnight at the Salvation Army hostel.

Our patient numbers have grown steadily and we currently have 23 dogs registered who we regularly see.

StreetVet Reading has support from local veterinary practices such as the ActiveVetCare group and local RSPCA branch who help to provide emergency veterinary care and neutering financial support.

We have been amazed by the generosity of donations provided by the public. We hope we can continue to grow and provide veterinary care to the homeless community of Reading.
