Snowflake’s Skin Transformation!
Snowflake, one of our regular StreetVet Cambridge patients, visited our team at the start of 2024, with a painful skin condition that had left her with patchy, furless, and inflamed red skin.
Just over a year later, and after plenty of care and treatment, her fur has grown back beautifully. You’d never know she once was in discomfort. We’re thrilled with her progress and we’re pretty sure Snowflake is too!
Her story is a powerful example of StreetVet’s impact. Thanks to our volunteers and supporters, pets like Snowflake receive FREE, life-changing veterinary care that they need and deserve.

Dingo’s Road to Recovery
While much of our StreetVet outreach work is routine care, sometimes we’re faced with more complex cases, like Dingo, who suffered a ruptured cruciate ligament (that’s the dog equivalent of a knee injury!). You might know this injury from human sports, but Dingo wasn’t skiing or playing international football, he was just unlucky.
Thanks to the incredible support of Vet Surgeon Matt Hibberd from Rata Vet Surgery who performed the surgery for free at StreetVet volunteer vet Carla Puima Castoya’s Vets for Pets practice in Emersons Green, Bristol, Dingo got the expert care he needed and deserves.
Huge thanks to Matt, Carla, and everyone involved in giving Dingo a second chance at a pain-free life. This is what StreetVet is all about.
