That time of year is creeping up on us again…. We’re sorry to say the word but it’s nearly Christmas!

Over the past few years, we have received an overwhelming amount of shoeboxes due to the unwavering generosity of our followers and supporters. As a charity, we have very limited resources for storage and distribution of these lovely shoe boxes, so we have decided to try something slightly different year.

Instead of shoeboxes, we are setting up Christmas Donation Stations in nominated veterinary practices that we have in our active cities.

We would like to ask that if you would like to support a dog/cat (even a rabbit!) and their owner during this difficult time of year, that a donation of a Christmas pet toy is dropped off to only the veterinary practices specified in the list below. All donated items should be brand new and in their original packaging. The deadline for donations is Monday 16th December.

  • Brighton- New Priory Vets

  • Bournemouth- Aniwell Veterinary Clinic
  • Gloucester- Wood Vets

  • Cambridge- Village Vet Milton

  • Southampton- Brook House Veterinary Centre

  • Bristol- Highcroft Veterinary Group

  • Birmingham- Vets4Pets Stourbridge

  • Reading – Oakley Veterinary Centre

In addition to accepting donations of toys, we are also asking for Christmas cards for the owners with vouchers or gift cards for food, pet stores or coffee shops that allow dogs. Each practice detailed above will have a post box for you to pop them in.

Practices specified above are ready and waiting to receive your donations of toys, Christmas cards and vouchers.
