I'm a Registered Veterinary Nurse and have been working in small animal practices for the last 18 years. I've had some amazing experiences and met some great people along the way. I love what I do and at the heart of that is helping owners and their pets in need. In 2016 I took the leap into out of hours work with Vets Now and haven't looked back. Being able to offer help in emergency situations is extremely rewarding and makes the long hours completely worth it.
I have been following Street Vet since it's launch in 2016 and hoping it would make its way to Bournemouth. Now that it has I'm so excited to be involved, and to feel that we're making a difference to our homeless community and their beloved pets is a great feeling.

I graduated from Glasgow Vet School in 2007 and have lived in Bournemouth for nearly 10 years. I love living in this great town but am very saddened by the stark economic divide that’s so evident by the ever increasing homeless population. I feel really privileged to be able to offer a little help for our homeless community and their furry friends.

I have been wanting to help With Streetvet for a while and when I heard a local team was being set up, I jumped at the chance to join. I feel honoured to be helping those that need our support and their furry friends.

I am a registered veterinary nurse from Bournemouth. I have always had a huge love of animals and caring for them! I have two Shih tzus Rupert & Maisie who I love too bits ...oh and a one eared hamster!
I am a firm believer that dogs really are our best friends and I don’t think just because someone is homeless it should be any different. Once I heard about Street Vet I knew it was something I wanted to be a part of.

My name is Kerensa and I’m a vet currently working in Dorset. I have a little cat called Mischa and she brings me great joy! I have been working as a small animal vet for the past 2 years after graduating from RVC, and my main interests include crochet and walks in the new forest. I was really excited to hear about Streetvet starting in Bournemouth as I have wanted to volunteer for a while! I think it’s an incredible opportunity to reach out to those who most need our help and I’m excited to see what the future holds for streetvet and everyone we help.
