Volunteer Numbers Swell!

After a whirlwind opening week, including unprecedented levels of support from the veterinary community, we here at StreetVet are proud to announce our volunteer numbers have risen from thirty-two to a jaw-dropping one hundred and forty five!

At minimum, that gives us an extra two hundred and twenty six hours on the street a month.

All told, vets and nurses will now spend a grand total of 145 solid days a year helping the homeless and their pets under the StreetVet banner.

We absolutely couldn’t be prouder of the selfless, kind and generous profession that we work in.

The map below shows the huge range of locations our new sign ups have volunteered from, giving real fuel to our aspirations to make StreetVet happen nation-wide and we aren’t done yet… Think you might like to  help us push those numbers up even higher?

Please get in touch if you think this incredible movement is something you could fit into your schedule. At a minimum commitment of just two hours per month, we don’t ask for much, and you could make a massive difference to the lives of people who need it. If you are interested please leave your details on our join us page.

I’m a vet who would love to help. Based on Peterborough but no problem getting into
London especially at weekends. Have some experience of non-vet volunteer work with homeless people including ongoing help with the local soup kitchen. How do I get involved? 😊

Hi I’m not a vet, but would love to volunteer. Is this still possible. Happy with any supportive tasks for this wonderful initiative.

Hi Charlotte, we are always looking for volunteers. It would be great to know your skill set and see if we have any current volunteer openings that might suit you. Can yo submit your information via the form and just explain your situation?
      Many thanks for supporting StreetVet!
