Laughs Galore at StreetVet Comedy Night

The vets and nurses were out in force to support the first Comedy Benefit Night in aid of StreetVet last month. Nearly £600 was raised at the Cavendish Arms in Stockwell at the event compered by supporters Kate Roxburgh and Shay Kuehlmann.

The highlight of the night was a sharp set by Robin Ince of Radio 4’s Infinite Monkey Cage who topped a strong bill featuring US comedian Lewis Schaffer, the up and coming Grainne Maguire, a caustic set from Sarah Callaghan, Fringe favourite Nathan Cassidy, the manic Richard Todd and first-timer Steve Lewis.

Big thanks to Kate and Shay for organising the night, all who helped out and everyone who came along. A fantastic event!
